Home Lighting Design: Moroccan Pendants

Home Lighting Design: Moroccan Pendants

Different people have different customs and traditions and they resist in time, being valued by those who inherited them through generations. It is easy to recognize a Chinese painted vase Ming period style or maybe and African mask. But it is better to keep your people’s traditions and also try to “borrow” those foreign traditions that you like best. Look these beautifully handcrafted Moroccan pendants – you could arrange a room in Arab style just to admire them every day or, even better, try to match them with simple black furniture that matches them perfectly.

These pendants are very special because they are carefully hand crafted in iron, but having a bronze finish and they are pierced in two different patterns.

Home Decorating Ideas – Coat Racks With Vintage Clothes

Home Decorating Ideas – Coat Racks With Vintage Clothes

When most people think of coat racks, they think strictly of hanging coats, hats, and scarves. But coat racks can be a lot more than just a place to keep clutter off the floor. They can also provide you with an opportunity to display your own, unique decorating tastes.

One of the greatest ways to decorate with coat racks is to display vintage clothing on them. Wall-mounted coat racks work particularly well for displaying vintage hats and bonnets. And floor-mounted coat racks are a natural for cloaks, gowns, shawls and scarves.

Don’t go cheap when using coat racks as a decorating accent. True, you can pick up a generic wall-mounted coat rack for under $10 and a floor-standing one for under $30. But if your goal is to create an eye-catching accent, don’t expect a cheap one to have the effect you want.

Decorate Home With Asian Style Furniture

Decorate Home With Asian Style Furniture

Asian furniture is always a consideration in interior decoration and individual pieces of furniture, antiques and artefacts are sought after from countries such as India, Malaysia, Singapore, China and Japan. Asian furniture, whether new or antique, brings color and life to homes decorated in any style. Even in modern homes, Chinese dynasty pieces or intricately carved statues from India can fit in perfectly with the decor.

Asian cultures take great pride in their diversity and distinguished histories, and these values are quite apparent in even the smallest piece of oriental furniture. When designing a modern interior, the process usually involves looking at Japanese furniture which is extremely functional and minimalist in nature.

Indoor Plants – Low Light House Plants

Indoor Plants – Low Light House Plants

Low light house plants are always on the wanted list for indoor gardeners. You may be thinking that all houseplants are low light tolerant, but this isn’t necessarily so. Although there are many shade tolerant indoor plant varieties that have been re-named house plants, at the same time, many plants grown specifically for the indoors, still require a fair amount of light.

Litle tips: Indoor gardens are a great way to create curb appeal to your house. If  you maintain an indoor garden, try artificial turf to give your garden
the perfect ambiance it needs.

First off, let us define low-light, without getting too technical.
If you need a torch, night-goggles, or have to switch on the overhead lights – this is a dark area. Plants do not grow in the dark. In a low light area, if you can still cast a shadow – not talking silhouettes here, there are plants that will in fact grow in this amount of light. Don’t bother going any darker than this, just brighter.
