Easter Theme For Your Home Decor

Easter Theme For Your Home Decor

Easter Theme For Your Home Decor – Easter parties are supposed to follow an Easter theme but surprisingly, eggs, chickens and bunnies don’t cover it for most people. Many can’t make the connection between rabbits and eggs. Here are a few ideas for an Easter themed party.

Colors and decorations

Easter as a holiday isn’t associated with a particular color like Christmas and Halloween are. Dark colors normally aren’t used and decorations are kept light to give a fresh look to rooms and gardens. The decoration involves crafts, flowers and fruits.

Linen Curtains For Spring Season

Linen Curtains For Spring Season

Linen Curtains For Spring Season –  it is always nice to think about spring and things that can bring spring into your home a little in advance of the actual season. One very easy way to do that is with linen curtains. They evoke the sense of a warm breezy spring day. Why not enjoy some of that feeling all winter, as well?

Spring is associated with the first tender pale green shoots of plants and the first pale petals of flowers. Natural linen fabrics have the same effect on the senses that these things do. The way they glow when the sun shines through, but yet they still mute the barren winter landscapes you see from your windows.

Small Room Decorating Tips

Small Room Decorating Tips

Small room decorating tips – Small rooms have their challenges for decorating, as you need to make your small room liveable and comfortable, but without being claustrophobic.

Let’s begin with color. Dark colors make a room appear smaller. In clothing, it’s well known that black and dark colors are very slimming. These colors will also “slim” your room and make it appear smaller. Avoid dark colors in large amounts in a small room, especially on the walls or (even worse) the ceiling, as this will turn your little room into something resembling a dungeon or cave. Darker colors are all right in smaller amounts and low down (e.g. carpets). But keep to lighter colors as the basis for your small room decorating palette.
