Bedroom is a haven for relaxation, a restful and soothing place and our very own personal little space within our home, where we can be our true selves without any inhibitions. It is a room where we can simply relax and spend some quiet time alone. Unlike olden times, when bedrooms were actually used only for sleeping, today, we use them for a variety of other things like resting, studying, watching television, listening to music, chit chatting, eating our meals, etc., apart from sleeping. A bedroom essentially is made up on a bed and some other furniture. It is usually designed depending on who the room belongs to, as every bedroom is very special and unique to its occupants. While designing an ideal bedroom a thorough knowledge of its user’s tastes, preferences, needs, lifestyles, thoughts, ideas and background is very important.
Decorating the hallway, stairs and landing sometimes is quite a difficult task. These areas are already very busy places, but their basic purpose is to link other rooms in the house or apartment. This means that they must not contain unnecessary items and furniture on which the one could stumble. The floors must not be polished, slippery or covered with an unfixed rugs. The lighting should be well placed and strong.
While the corridors and stairways are important traffic areas, tenants may be sometimes neglect their decorating just because of that. These areas then remain uninteresting, unused, and uncoordinated with other rooms.
Of all the creatures on this magnificent planet there is perhaps none more odd and difficult to understand than the human teenager. A teen’s day is spent at a place of learning where a few brave adults risk their sanity in an attempt to impart wisdom on mostly deaf ears. It is here where the teen’s social structure is formed, each one looking for a pack to run with, looking for acceptance.
Upon returning home after a day of social jockeying and learning, the teen commonly barricades him or herself in their private quarters and is often not seen until they get hungry. It is not known what exactly takes place during this time.In many cases, loud music can be heard coming from the teen’s quarters, while other times lengthy telephone conversations – with other teens they just spent the entire day with – can be faintly heard.
